Pinarello FP3 o Battaglin C12?

Ciao tutti.
Sono americano, e ci scusiamo per il mio povero Italiano.
Sto vivendo in provincia di Pordenone e shopping per una nuova bici strada.
Io non la razza, ma vogliono una bicicletta ad alte prestazioni.
Vorrei mantenere il prezzo al di sotto di Euro 3.000.
Mi piace l'Battaglin C12 e Pinarello fp3 ma non hanno cavalcato uno.
Sono lo stesso prezzo, ma la fp3 con gruppo Centaur, e la C12 con Chorus 11-spd.
Qualcuno ha esperienza o raccomandazione?

they're equivalent about the frame... about groupset, battaglin's one is better that pinarello's one, but it is not a considerable difference (imho)...

... so i think you must choose on the strength of you regard as the best about aesthetics...

You should check also the wheels set provided with the bycicle.
The Chorus group set is better than Centaur and as you said it has 11 speed.
Check if the crankset belongs to the group or if it is from a different manufacturer. I would suggest you to avoid FSA crankset, it has very weak ball bearing in the bottom bracket.
I'm a Battaglin owner and I'm very satisfied with it.

I am leaning toward the Battaglin which also has better wheels (C12 con Fulcrum R3, FP3 con MOST Chall) and Bottom Bracket (C12 con Campy Record, FP3 con MOST Oversized).
For me Pinarello wins on aesthetics (beautiful) but I think the Battaglin may be superior in weight and pure performance.
Is the C12 a more rigid and less comfortable frame?
Tough decision - both high quality.

Unfortunately I cannot answer to this question because I haven't ridden the two bikes,
about the wheel set.... I would go with the Fulcrum R3 .... but this is a matter of taste.

I've a fp3 of Pinarello. I can say that it's a great bike if we consider the value for money. About the groupset, as other before me says, Chorus is better than Centaur, that's a sort of a new group about the carbon set. It's heavier than Chorus, but ther's no a great difference. It's made for the same objectives..
In order to the price, with Pina fp3 you spend about 2300-2500 euros and so you're right in term of budget. I don't know about the Battaglin's price. For the characteristics of Pinarello and the sensations..I'm here!
